Pedro,
I've been doing a little work with the old PostGIS Driver worked on by
Uwe and Refractions Research. So I might be able to help.
Can you let me know how you are trying to connect to PostgreSQL from
JUMP. It appears that you are using the same plug-in from the stack

I want to add my thanks for all of Stefan's hard work. OpenJUMP is
much better off with his contributions as a project administrator!
I also agree with Ugo. I think there may be some valid reasons to
maintain a separate code base for OpenJUMP.
I'll try and discuss some of these in a blog post thi

Dear de
Stefan,
I thought I had saved an ODT version of the OpenJUMP Basics Tutorial,
but I can't seem to find it on my computer. I didn't see it on the
SourceForge site either.
Would I be able to trouble you for access to another copy?

Stefan,
I don't see JAI as a hinderance; you can run most of the functionality
from the JARS (with a performance hit). That said, many of you will want
the performance from the system specific drivers ... so I though this
could an opportunity to remind everyone that SUN provides native JAI

Shame on me...
At this time everything is working quite well in OJ. (using nightly build

No problem Pedro.
Remember, OpenJUMP's memory problem is a major item on my todo list.
I'll get it fixed. It might take me another year or two, but I will
get it fixed.

Pedro,
It depends on your definition of serious work. I have personally used
JUMP with vector and raster datasets on the same order with good results.
Your problem is probably mostly due to the GeoTIFF, since that format is
inherently inefficient. With MrSID, I have used rasters that uncompres

I'd like to track which files, not just folders, are common and not

I tried to do this, but kept running into problems with all the CVS

Is there a way to download the source co
I've mapped the directory structures for the Java pacakges in OpenJUMP

I'll work on a document that shows the difference between the two
package structures when I get some more time. When its all done I'll
get an archive file on the SurveyOS site.
