The same problem happens vertically on a second monitor that has the same
resolution but rotated so that 1920px is the height of one monitor and the
other is 1080px

I noticed something else in regard to the keybindings workaround that I
mentioned earlier.
Only if the focus is on the first split view I can access the "konsolepart"
keybindings in the shortcu

I just noticed that in the shortcut settings, there are duplicate actions for
split view. There are 2 actions (vertical/horizontal) for the konsolepart
component with no keybinds by default, and 2 similar

Forgot to say that this only fixed the thumbnails for .cbz files.
I think the issue with .cbr archives is completely different.

This also happens when connecting do an MDaemon IMAP server [1] (not my choice
of IMAP server but it is what is used at work)
