seems the issue is more often reproduces on Wayland, and is not necessary
depends on PC speed. I could reproduce it on far more powerful modern PC

It works for me, but I tend to disable the system tray items for all apps that
make it configurable, so I only typically have two (Element and Discord) and I
haven't seen it happen with them.

It happens randomly, all of these apps had icon absent one run or another. So I
think it's app irrelevant.
It seems racy, maybe amount of the icons does matter.
