With Qt 5.6.x it's expected. The underlying problem is that Qt 5 sucks. The
code got fixed in Qt 5.7.1, IIRC, although Yakuake still has to do some of the
heavy-lifting - the code added in 3.0.3

Thank you. That option seems to have prevented the black screen issue; however
KRDC still closes the connection very frequently (every 15-30 minutes). So I
