It's KDevelop::BackgroundParser::parseComplete emitting the signal.

I tried to convert Euros to USD. I tried 11500 euro and it crashed
I tried to do other math such as 11500 * 2 and 11500 + 12000 and

It seems like values in the multi-millions crashes it, I get QSocketNotifier:

My install of KDE is from about 5.6 or so.

After installing 5.8, the behaviour you can see in the linked video began. Any
time a window on my left screen is grabbed by the titlebar, it jumps straight
down to the bottom. When enough of the window is sitting on my right screen, it
jumps back onto my cursor as normal. Using the Move command from the right
click menu gives the same result. 

I can use the window snapping features (dragging to top and side of screen)
normally on both monitors. Even though the window jumps to the bottom of the
screen, when my mouse hits the side of the monitor during the drag, it jumps
into the correct position.

I can resize on the left screen normally.

I have tried turning off wobbly windows, no change. I'm using the NVIDIA
proprietary driver on X.

Actual Results:  
Window jumps down to the bottom of the screen. About 2-3 pixels of the window
remain onscreen, but I can't grab that, only resize.

This report was measured after I commented out the line I mentioned before.

Looks like there is another function keeps update the progress bar. Not as busy
as the one in background parser though.

After the last system update I had a very strange problem. Now, a digital clock
show me one time, and analog show a different time. And at the same time, they
both clocks show incorrect time!

Unfortunately, I do not know how to reproduce this problem. It came just after

Neither Chrome, nor LibreOffice are KDE applications. They might follow GTK
configuration instead, so you would need a separate tool to change the cursor
theme.

The vimode_modes unit test from the KTextEditor sources (from
ktexteditor/autotests/src/vimode) freezes both KDevelop (the whole application)
as well as my Plasma panels (not all of Plasma, though, just the panels) when
run from the Unit Test tool panel. I don't know why this is (hell, I don't even
know what exactly the test does), but this behavior is reproducible every time.

Running the vimode_modes executable as standalone from the terminal works fine,
though.

I generally have the impression, that certain unit tests interfere with the
responsiveness of the KDevelop UI. The vimode_keys test also freezes KDevelop
for a couple of seconds, but then finishes and puts KDevelop back in a usable
state.

The edit contact form used to have the "Display Name" field, which is used to

Sorry I'm not sure I got you fully :/. Parser is not slow, only delay(s) make
it works slow :/. I understand that parser has to finish its work before I can
generate completion list or helper content. So how to decrease this delay? I
observe similar delays on i5 Sandy Bridge and i7 SkyLake (~3 sec.) and for sure
there is big difference in power between both CPUs, so why this delay is so
similar? I don't understand why processor speed can't help here. So what will
help? I don't type super fast. Sometimes faster, sometimes slower. Function
completer is due to helps me in completing code. Waiting on parser till it
finish its work discourages  of using completing or helper tool :-/.

For me parser is slow, because simple commenting makes I have to wait couple
seconds. Looking at I my example, what parser has to make analysis? This is
couple lines of function and loop with one line body :/. I'm not aware how this
parser works, but this is very uncomfortable during work on code :-(.

Parser in KDevelop 4.7.x works much faster. For me it looks like some issue
related with clang. I suppose that in previous KDevelop parser didn't base on
clang. I don't know maybe its parsing wan't enough correctly :/.

Some times ago Milian made some optimizations in parser. I was hope that parser
thanks that will speed up, but this didn't happen :(.

Offenbar ist das E-Mail Modul von Kontact für diesen Fehler verantwortlich.
Wenn man es abschaltet, öffnet sich Kontact nicht mehr automatisch beim
Rechnerstart.

It also happens with a new instance of the clock (which defaults to the broken
"Local" time zone setting). In addition, the numbers on the clock tend to
disappear after a reboot or two, leaving only the separators. (Previously, just
the date disappeared and the time remained, but this time the time disappeared
too.)

Interesting. So it seems we do get an update event, but since we don't reparse
the mode list, it stays static, and nothing actually changes.

I'm sorry, but I'm not even going to consider looking into this: patches are
welcome, but it's not worth my time to install Gnome
something,something.something and try to figure out what it's doing. It's not a
bug in krita: it's gnome doing something weirdly non-standard, let the gnome
developers add support to relevant applications and toolkits.

Both computers are fedora 23. One is up to date (plasma 5.7.5), the other not
quite (plasma 5.7.3).

But I have been experiencing this bug for a long time: it has been present for
several version of fedora and of plasma. Unfortunately, I cannot say since
when. Several times, I have simply waited for the next update, and was in the
impression that the next update did fix it.  (And maybe it has been fixed for
some period of time?) But at some point the bug would reappear. As it doesn't
occur every time, and as I don't use so often an external drive, it is hard for
me to be precise.

Thanks for the tip. I added a new Q_INVOKABLE to expose setAutoBrackets() to
test scripts. The only possible pitfall I see here is that you have to
explicitly disable auto brackets again at the end of your test, because the
config is taken over to successive tests. I hope this won't backfire should
"auto brackets on" become a default setting at some point. But in that case
most tests would fail anyway, so not a big deal I guess.

on  my Fedora24, Kaffeine 1.2.2 is able to scan DVB-S and I can watch TV.
After an update to Kaffeine 2.0.4 the scanning of the channels nearly
immediately stops after the start and the channels list stays empty.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. fedora 24 (gnome or KDE - problem on both)
2. installation of the current Kaffeine (2.0.4) via rpm
3. configure TV => device => Astra 19,2E on LNB1 
4. channels => scan

Actual Results:  
The scan of the channels nearly immediately stops after the start and the
channels list stays empty.
Tried with AtlanticBird3 5W on LNB2 isn't scaned too.

Expected Results:  
List of channels available.

Same here, fedora 23, plasma 5.7.5
Happens most of the time when plugging in a usb3 stick into a usb2.0 port on a
lenovo t420 laptop - this was working properly before the latest updates.

As mentioned above, the error message appears but the stick is mounted
properly.
No such error messages when moutning/umounting on commandline without kde
device notifier.

I tried importing the clip with the option disabled and no crash happens. 

Follow the steps and see. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Kdenlive
2. Go to Configure Kdenlive -> Misc 
3. Enable "Check if first added clip matches project profile"
4. Import a clip into Project Bin

Actual Results:  
Crash

Expected Results:  
Kdenlive should switch the projects framerate accordingly.

Thanks so much, I have copied here five previous reports, with each one I have
added the date, the version of krita I was using and the last thing I was
doing.
I’ve been working with diferents versions but from now on I’m going to use
3.0.1.1 and I will attach each every single report.

2016/10/10 K 3.0.1.90 dgb – I opened a new window. I have to screens (laptop
and desktop monitor) and I passed one window to the laptop screen. I started to

Well, it has tests, but they fail (actually, the C++ ones don't, but
only because I haven't adjusted them yet to my latest changes in the
indenter which allow for auto brackets).
Additionally, one already existing test for the C++ indenter fails now
as I said above, but not in a way that would consider buggy.
The reason why my tests fail is still that I can't get the test
environment to enable auto brackets.

I guess you are right. 

Gilles, what distro are you using? Maybe it is time to move to something more
stable than kubuntu 16.x BTW does your gwenview  has kipi plugins working? Not
working here of course ;-) Automount cifs shares at boot not working on wifi

2. The user types whatever they want from the application.
3. Wait for the HUD to return results.

Actual Results:  
Feature isn't implemented

Expected Results:  
The HUD outputs the menu the user wants along with suggestions, saving time
from looking into the application menus.

The Unity HUD feature in Ubuntu is quite useful. I often get lost in the menus
quite often, so searching up the option I need (for example, in Libreoffice, I
always forget where the option to include headers in the document is in the
menu). I was thinking maybe this could be integrated into the “Search”
plasmoid, but it’ll be nice however way.

My new format credit card statement causes further problems.
It produces a date with no year, like "15 Aug".

To avoid an on-going need to edit every entry, it would be good if the CSV
importer could cope with this format, please.
