https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396395 Bug ID: 396395 Summary: Task manager window ordering on application restart Product: plasmashell Version: 5.13.2 Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager Assignee: h...@kde.org Reporter: tin.blasko...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Hi, short use case for this problem: - open multiple windows with a few tabs each in Firefox, make sure the Firefox is setup to restore the session - close Firefox - logout - login - open Firefox again The problem: the ordering of restored Firefox windows is randomized in the task manager (although their position on the screen is preserved) Preferred behavior: the ordering of restored windows in the task manager to be in the order they were previous to closing This was lately working with no problems, even with dozens of windows open containing hundreds of tabs. It was an intermittent problem observed in previous 5.x versions of Plasma but seemed to have gotten fixed lately. However, with latest Plasma (5.13.2, and possibly 5.13.1 too) it appeared again, so I guess it is some kind of a regression. I have previously observed the same problem with Chromium, so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with GTK-based applications. For completeness sake, this also seemed to coincide with the update to Firefox 61 (or perhaps to one of the latest revisions of Firefox 60) if that is of any help. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

However, if you are "tapping (click-and-release)" the stylus side button to do call out the right-click menu, you will often find the menu disappears immediately after you release the right button. This is because as you release right button, Krita automatically selects the menu entry which the cursor is hovering. You don't see this happening because mouse can stay unmoved as you click its buttons, and by default when you right-click, the cursor is always just outside of the menu so nothing gets selected and close the menu. When I was using Krita on Surface and Wacom MSP 13 without a keyboard for the first time, the biggest issue I had was that I could not press enter to input a tag, even when I copied the words from a text file. I've also met many people who don't know they need to press Enter after they input a new tag, so they got very confused by Krita's tag system as "nothing I input was showing up". Adding those buttons, or only the [Enter] button should greatly improve the usability and ease the learning curve for new users. Committed on 10/07/2018 at 17:48. Pushed by rempt into branch 'master'. Fix converting Qt's ui languages to ki18n language codes Also, on macOS, only set one language; ki18n gets horribly confused and takes random translations if there's more than one language set with setLanguages. [krita] [Bug 396038] GIT ae24634: Docker size configuration is lost upon each session
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396038 --- Comment #3 from Boudewijn Rempt --- Hm, but krita doesn't actually have an active workspace -- after selecting, say, Minimal, Krita doesn't remember the current workspace is "Minimal", but remembers the configuration of dockers and toolbars, and restores that. What I'm seeing here is that the workspace seems to save correctly, and can be restored, but the current window configuration doesn't get restored on a restart, and that's pretty strange, since it works for me on Windows and Linux. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krita] [Bug 396171] Brush slowdowns on a wide range of mainstream to lowend laptop CPUs, comprehensive test report attached.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396171 --- Comment #6 from Tyson Tan --- (In reply to Boudewijn Rempt from comment #5) > I'll set the status to confirmed, though I guess we should make a > phabricator task with this data and then somehow figure out what is up... OK! If you need other information, I will try to provide them as well. Although I don't own all the machines I've tested, I can always have my hands on the following "bad" ones: Core i7-3520M, i3-4010U, Celeron N3150. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
