EXPECTED RESULT I'd like to have both saved but I don't know if that's a bug or just the ora specs that don't allow it which I could understand, however if we have to chose between the two parameters then I think it's better to keep the blending mode, alpha inheritance is just one click away we can deal with it easier. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397205 Guillaume Racicot changed: What|Removed |Added CC||gufi...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Guillaume Racicot --- Created attachment 115585 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=115585&action=edit Highligted operator== with two unhighlighted variables As with lambda capture, structured binding seems to behave as if the type of the variable is indeed recognized, but not the declaration. I added a screenshot that demonstrates that two unhighlighted variables (created from structured bindings) actually yield to highlighted expressions when it uses other entities. I analyzed what libclang output as information, and it seems to skip declaration of such variable (structured bindings and lambda capture with initializers) but later uses those as if they were declared. We generate QSGTextures elsewhere in that same code; we just need to make this interim class. But in any case, what you're looking for is ShaderEffectSource which will work for any item(s). https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397657 Neousr changed: What|Removed |Added CC||neo...@protonmail.com --- Comment #3 from Neousr --- As a user that have been using Plasma 5 since a couple of years. The points 3 and 4 are the ones that makes updating a bit more tedious that it should be. Specially number 4 Discover takes a bit to load the lists and then a little bit more to get the "download size" until you can perform the updates. On my opinion this makes discover feel more slow that it really is. Don't know if that is an already reported issue or an area to improve. As a way to improve can be an option to auto-close discover after a successful update be a little improvement and thus removing 7 from the list. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Sorry for late reply] I used EasyTag and Kid3 and they also make Dolphin show ogg album art. I wonder if it has to do with PuddleTag not being maintained since 2016 and still using QT4 technology. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=399682 Bug ID: 399682 Summary: Top lvl 7z archive contains files/dir tree + a 2nd lvl 7z archive of same name but smaller size - confusion Product: kdenlive Version: 18.08.1 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Installation Assignee: vpi...@kde.org Reporter: rbing...@acm.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 115580 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=115580&action=edit Screenshot of 7-zip console showing inner archive SUMMARY Downloaded archive "Kdenlive-18.08.1-w64.7z" for Windows size 167MB to regression test bugs filed for v16. Website instructions for install are: "Now, you don’t need to do anything more to set up. To run Kdenlive, you just have to unzip the downloaded Kdenlive version, and start Kdenlive from kdenlive.exe in kdenlive-windows folder." Top level 7z archive unpacks to a "Kdenlive-18.08.1" root folder containing an obvious install tree of files and dirs. No issue. However, the "Kdenlive-18.08.1" root folder also contains *another* 7z archive "Kdenlive-18.08.1-w64.7z" size 83MB with same name as the original download archive. Since the current install method is manual unzips, this fact is exposed to the user and now confusion sets in. The inner archive also contains an obvious install tree. Is this situation a packaging error and the embedded archive can be ignored or is it required and presumably also should be manually unpacked? If required, there are now two kdenlive.exe files exposed. Which should be executed to launch the app or does it matter? If the inner archive is auto-magically unpacked if needed, that assumes the first user to do so has the Windows perms to create a new tree in within the location of the top level tree - not a good assumption if the top level tree has been installed in C:\Programs Install instructions on Website need to account for any inner archives that need user attention at install time. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Download Kdenlive-18.08.1-w64.7z from https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/Kdenlive-18.08.1-w64.7z 2. Launch 7-zip console and explore the Kdenlive 7z archive for inner archive as described. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Observe presence of inner archives not mentioned in install instructions. EXPECTED RESULT Install instructions account for inner archives including an instruction to ignore them if not user attention required at install time. Committed on 11/10/2018 at 21:26. Pushed by dkurz into branch 'Applications/18.08'. Fix keyboard editting of start/end times of VTODOs Summary: Editting start/end times of VTODOs using only the keyboard did not trigger a check whether the VTODO is dirty. If other fields were updated along with start/end times, everything was fine, but only editting those times was simply ignored. The patch causes a dirty check for keyboard edits of the corresponding KTimeComboBoxes. FIXED-IN: 5.9.3 Test Plan: I changed start and end times of a test VTODO. Without the patch, the change was not saved when hitting OK, nor did I hit my dirty-check breakpoint. With the patch, everything works as expected: Keyboard editting results in an updated VTODO, as verified via the Month View tooltip and by opening the IncidenceEditor again for that VTODO. Committed on 11/10/2018 at 21:23. Pushed by dkurz into branch 'Applications/18.08'. Fix KOrg category color customization crash Summary: Use default value for NULL columns. Without this patch, possibly different default values are used for entity construction (default from akonadidb.xml) and when reading a row from the database (default-constructed), resulting in inconsistencies. For example, when modifying a Tag, the resulting Tag modify notification indicates that the new parentId of the modified Tag is 0 (default-constructed qint64), whereas Tags without parents are initialized with parentId -1. This patch fixes these inconsistencies by considering the "default" value from akonadidb.xml for row-to-entity conversion, too. Set default Tag::parentId to -1. A parentless Tag is initialized with parentId -1, so we should also report that when reading a Tag from the database where the parentId field is NULL. Committed on 11/10/2018 at 21:22. Pushed by dkurz into branch 'Applications/18.08'. Fix color inconsistency for unset categories. Summary: KOrganizer's preference dialog states that the color for unset categories is only used on the categories-color-only setting. However, this is currently not true for Month View, where in each of the mixed settings (category-border, resource-fill, or vice versa) the unset-category color is also used. With this patch, Month View considers the unset-category color only in the category-only setting, just like Agenda View. FIXED-IN: 5.9.3 Test Plan: By testing all four combinations for coloring frame and fill a month item, I confirmed Bug 382185: the color for items with no categories is used in CategoryOnly as well as in mixed settings (i.e., all settings but ResourceOnly). After applying this patch, I tested them again and confirmed that the unset-category color is only used in CategoryOnly, while in mixed settings, the resource color is used instead, making it consistent to Agenda View and the settings dialog. [plasmashell] [Bug 395155] In folder view the ‘Shift’ key doesn’t change the right-click menu item from ‘Move to Trash’ to ‘Delete’
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395155 --- Comment #17 from Nate Graham --- Thanks for merging it back to master, Eike. However, building plasma-desktop from source with either master or the Plasma/5.14 branches still doesn't fix this for me with a fairly fresh install of Neon dev unstable. I can indeed reproduce that holsing down Shift *before* opening the context menu makes the correct menu item appear, but that pressing Shift after the menu is already open does not make it dynamically change. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
