[kdenlive] [Bug 432185] New: Unable to adjust subtitle duration
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432185 Bug ID: 432185 Summary: Unable to adjust subtitle duration Product: kdenlive Version: 20.12.1 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: l...@sub-pop.net Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY In 20.12.1, adjusting a subtitle's duration by selecting the right edge and dragging results in the duration being set to 00:00:00. The subtitle entry can no longer be adjusted after this happens. Clicking the up arrow in the subtitle duration value makes the duration get shorter, not longer. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add a subtitle and save it. 2. Adjust its duration either by dragging it in the timeline or editing the duration value 3. OBSERVED RESULT The subtitle duration instantly jumps to zero. EXPECTED RESULT The subtitle should slide like any other clip. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432184 Bug ID: 432184 Summary: Properties buttons in Layers docker aren't greyed/hidden for layers that don't have properties dialogs Product: krita Version: 4.4.2 Platform: Appimage OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: Dockers Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: tomtomtomreportin...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY The UI of the Layers docker strongly implies that Selection Masks, Colorize Masks, Transparency Masks, and local selection layers have their own properties dialogs, as it presents the option in the right-click menu and with the icon on the bottom of the docker. However, nothing happens when these buttons are clicked. This might lead a user to believe there's something wrong with the functioning of their program. This is also unlike what happens with the Layer Styles option, which gets greyed where it doesn't apply. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create one of the mentioned masks 2. Attempt to open the properties of that mask OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens, without any indication that there's not supposed to be a dialog. We can't easily remove them without breaking other QWidgets-based dialogs that expect them. What we probably need to do is make a new face type that has zero margins around the whole content item, but margins around the button box sub-component. There is also a right margin that is appearing on the right side that I hven't tracked down yet. Once we fix all of that, we'd adjust KCMshell to set specify the use of the new face type. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432182 Bug ID: 432182 Summary: Crash on saving an image > 65.535 (2^16-1) due to insufficient math ranges Product: krita Version: 4.4.2 Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based) OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: tamtamy.tym...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY If you create a file 4.000 x 90.000, you will get a crash while saving. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create 4.000 x 90.000 file 2. Try to save. OBSERVED RESULT Crash EXPECTED RESULT No crash, saved file EXPLANATION OF THE CRASH: The crash appears because of insufficient maths in KisFixedPoint. Krita tries to scale the image down to 256x256 image to make a preview. The scale ends up being ~0.0027498. The value gets multiplied 2^8 times to end up integer since it's KisFixedPoint class, so it's used to get fixed point arithmetics. But in this case, it's outside of the range: 0.0027498*(2^8) = ~0.7, which is less than 1, which means the actual number assigned is 0. Then of course something inside complains about dividing by 0.
