Ended up patching kwin_screencast to stop logging
dows. Is this something I can set up so that Windows will show FITS
thumbnails or view the FITS files if I double-click the image file within

I currently don't use KDE Neon anymore. So I can't say for sure. I'm running
Kubuntu and Manjaro on two different machines which both have Spectacle 22.12.

It gets even more awkward when you hide window decorations for fullscreen apps
and use something like the Active Window Control applet. You just can't easily
close the window with your mouse.

I found another case though:
1. touch :a.mp4
2. kid3-cli -c 'select :a.mp4'
Looks like the same problem.
