I assume you are using SDDM ? Have you tried switching to a VT and restarting
the SDDM service ?

There may be some misunderstanding of how this bug presents.
Often, and over several versions of distributions and versions of KDE the
logout lockup would usually present on my systems as black screens with a

In my experience the lockups resulted in a cursor that moved as expected. A
restart of the SDDM service would bring back the login page.

Interesting update :
After having migrated my workstation to F34 I continued to have the logout
issue. as mentioned above. I wiped all KDE related configuration as well as
any other desktop related display
