plugin) available in the context menu of the Projects plugin's file tree.
Only suitable tools should be shown, which means...
* Tools that use file path variables like %{Document:FileName} or
%{Document:Path}
* NOT tools that use cursor position variables like %{Document:Cursor:Line} or
%{Document:Cursor:Column}
* NOT tools that have an Output setting which edits a document like "Insert at
cursor position" or "Replace selected text"

SUMMARY
USB Scanner Epson Perfection 2480 Photo is not recognised unless first
initialized by a 3rd party app (VueScan).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start Skanlite
2. Scanner is detected and listed in sources dialog
3. select the Epson scanner and press OK
OBSERVED RESULT
A generic error displayed ("could not connect to scanner" or similar) and you
have to quit the app.
EXPECTED RESULT
preview window should appear.

I find it so useful that I would like to use it to annotate not only the currently loaded image, but also images which I have saved previously. It is already possible to drag the currently shown image to the Desktop or Dolphin to move or copy it there or export it using the Export button. For me, it would feel natural to be able to drop an image file on the image area to import it. And/or have a button "Import image from... On another shell, I made good experience with the following behaviour: Do not show the (distracting) seconds by default, but show them in somewhere the calendar pop-up which opens when the clock applet is being clicked. In my case, I had to print a bunch of graphics that must be printed with exact measurements. The default "Fit to printable area" would shrink the documents and make the result unusable. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open PDF, choose Print, in "PDF Options" tab under Scale Mode switch from "Fit to printable area" to "None; print original size", then click the Print button. 2. Choose Print again, visit "PDF Options" tab and notice that again we have "Fit to printable area" selected. These can cause or continue discrimination, violence and cruelty against these creatures. Some examples: Level 1: - The animals in the main picture have a smile on their faces. This does not reflect the harsh reality most of these animals face in modern animal production facilities in the western societies. In order not to expose the young user with the true horrors these animals must endure one could at least depict them with a sad face. - Detail information on the cow: "They graze all day in the meadow". This is false. Most of farmed cows in the world a locked in industrial barns and never see a meadow in their (shortcut) lives. Level 3: - "You can drink the milk this animal produces" => Currently, the only valid answer is cow; but this is not the only of the clickable animals. In reality, we can drink the milk of all mammal animals. In the picture this would be dog, horse, cow, sheep, cat, pig. A good question could be why in the western culture it is normal to choose mostly cow's milk? This would highlight that there is not only one culture in the world and not only one way to treat animals. - "This animal lays eggs" => Currently, the only valid answer is chicken; which is not complete. Also ducks lay eggs. Also the bird on the barn lays eggs. Chickens are birds and all birds lay eggs. - "You can ride on the back of this animal" => You cannot only ride on horse's back but on nearly every animal's back. Depending on its strength it would hurt them more or less. E.g. there are feasts in some rural areas in the United States where children shall ride on the pig's backs for fun. The educational question here would not if you _can_ do it but if you _should_ do it. I manage a large collection of notes in form of text files in a git repository.
>From time to time, when I would like to find something, I remember two keywords
which are not exactly next to each other; and also the order of the words is

For this use case a "nearby" or "near each other" search (which also should
work over more than one line) would be very helpful.
This is a possible regex (but it only works for a single line):

This works on the command line:

Additionally, I tried to configure this as External Tool, but got this output

Between different partitions, it is unclear, therefore I like Nate's idea to just keep showing the popup in this case. Two additions: - I think David's concern is perfectly valid: unclear or random things should not be done to files. The following is one of the findings for potential improvement. This is a rather minor thing, but I thought it is still worth reporting. When examining folders, the user was unsure what the "Free Space" in the filesystem section means. There was the impression it has something to do with the folder itself. THOUGHTS: Maybe it is possible to make it clearer that all info in the lower section relates to the filesystem and not to the folder itself. The following is one of the findings for potential improvement. We copied a folder structure that also contained empty folders which were also present on the target filesystem. The user - already a bit stressed out - was completely confused when the empty folder was denoted with "4 KB" in size on the left side, whereas on the right side it was "0 KB", see screenshot. To to this, I currently copy the path out of Dolphin's location bar and paste it into the location bar of the Save As dialog. IDEA: It would be helpful if in the Save As dialog, all currently opened Dolphin window locations would be accessible directly, e.g. in the location drop-down menu, see attached screenshot. The following was cause for confusion: 1. On the destination, the folder structure was created first and then, one by one the folders were filled with the files. 2. On the source folder, a folder which was already empty, did not disappear at once. The whole folder structure remaines until the process is complete. The problem was: we _interrupted_ the move operation (deliberately, because of some panic). Which left us going through all the mostly empty folders looking which files were already moved and which not. SUGGESTION: 1. Create folders on the destination only then, when files will be copied into it. 2. Properties Dialog
In Dolphin, for symlinks there is a "Show Target" item in the context menu.
This menu item is missing for symlinks placed on the Desktop.
Similarly, it would be nice if in the Properties Dialog, the path to the
symlink ("Points to:") would be clickable (e.g. see attached screenshot) or had
a "Show target" button.
