STEPS TO REPRODUCE You can check it with the video I attached. Increase a lot the height of the panel, using the "height" button. After a while it won't increase anymore, and Plasmashell becomes totally unresponsive. It won't let you open other applications too. I set some keyboards shortcuts to open Dolphin (Meta+D) and Konsole (Meta+T); Dolphin won't open, Konsole will. I had to reboot the system. Htop shows a high CPU usage for Plasmashell; KSysGuard too. Basically, the system won't stop increasing the volume. You can see this well in the attachment. HOW TO REPRODUCE THE BUG: Keep pressing Fn, Keep Pressing F3 (in my case) to increase the volume, and after 2-3 secs, first release Fn, then release F3. If you open plasma-pa widget to control the volume, you can see the slider keeps moving right, even though I bring it to the left. In order to "stop" the bug, I have to hit another random key. Note that this also happens if I enable the hotkey mode in the BIOS (meaning that pressing F3 alone increases the volume). Some other (possibly related) information: if I record the bug with SimpleScreenRecorder, it keeps giving some warning: "Too many audio samples, dropping samples to keep the audio in sync with the video." IMPORTANT: This also happens DECREASING the volume (the volume slider would keep going from right to left if I drag it). If you listen carefully, it has a subtle white noise transient at the beginning.
