I think it may be a configuration problem. Could you try resetting you config and try to reproduce the bug again? https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration (this will of coure reset configuration to defaults, and erase all keyboard shortcuts) Or maybe its another bug, how old was your previous version of krita?
