IIRC the macOS zoom effect has a keyboard shortcut to switch between smoothed
and pixelated, because, yeah, sometimes you do want to see exact pixels. But
other times you don't. Might be nice to have that here too.

With the UI you can use "human readable" stars to set the rating, or if you
want to do it on the low level, use the edit dialog to set the number

I was wrong, somehow the compiler casts it to the appropriate type; I was
