Yes. The problem still arises. For reasons I don't understand, notifications
fly to the top corner. I didn't find any patterns.
The bug happens several times a day. Only a reboot helps.

It happened on both Wayland and X11, yes.

For me Dolphin is unusable without this dialog. This is the only reason I used

The reason the "extra settings" was removed is that rather than the RDP plugin
just being a frontend for running "xfreerdp" it now makes use of the FreeRDP
library
