Ok, apparently this is not a problem of KMail. It simply shows the RDF property
nmo#plainTextMessageContent which already contains the wrong value.

Ok, after deleting the Local folders resource (which then seems to be readded
automatically by akonadi), running akonadictl fsck and vacuum, the db size
dropped to 11MB.

The errors appear only in folders which are targets of filter rules which move

Usually, if the verification fails because there really is no key, kmail
displays message was signed with unknown key 0x..., where 0x... is the key
ID.
