[kmail2] [Bug 434501] KMail2 print of HTML View is splitted

2021-05-20 Thread Volker Helm
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434501

Sorry for the late reply.

Just tested the problem with recent arch linux (Kmail Version 5.17.1 (21.04.1))
and qt5-webengine (extra/qt5-webengine 5.15.3-5 (qt qt5) [Installiert]).

I had some problems to reproduce the error printing to a pdf-file:

1. without html-preview:
every email looks fine
2. with html-preview:
   a) only html inside the e-Mail -> pdf-file looks fine
  (tested around 5 mails)
   b) with normal text and html-text inside the e-mail with two parts there
is a split between the header and the text -> pdf-file looks broken

Here are some informations about the e-mail data:

Still struggling with this bug.
It seems to be a UI problem in the way that the clicking action triggers the
wrong outcome.
Can we up this bug to find a fix? I use these icons all the time, because they
are very convenient.

[korganizer] [Bug 436812] Event not shown in KOrganizer, when my mail address is in in the ATTENDEE list

2021-05-20 Thread Dr . Michael Hälsig
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436812

--- Comment #4 from Dr. Michael Hälsig ---
This seems to be the root of the problem: KOrganizer does not display events,
where I as participant have not accepted the event.

The Use Case is the following: I get an invitation (in this case from a
Microsoft dominated environment). Even when I get the 'Accept Dialogue', and
accept the invitation, the event is not shown in KOrganizer, but in the other
synchronized calendars. Therefore I import the .ics File, but, as we both see,
the event is not shown due to the Participation Status.

==> My conclusion: KOrganizer should display the event in any case, probably in
another form, when my Participation Status is 'NEEDS ACTION', combined with the
possibility to accept. I do not see a calendar view, where events of this type
are included.
