I've taken the kernel and the system seems to boot well. Both 3D
acceleration and use full resolution for Retina display is turned on.

issue appears in this case, so this bug is related to the dual card
configuration Intel/Nvidia, maybe the prime package. Probably wakeup was

This sounds more like a kernel issue (ACPI maybe?) as Compiz has nothing
to do with screen brightness and screen brightness hot keys.

[MacBook Pro 6.2][Trusty]
I've installed the latest upstream kernel on the Chromebook
(v3.13.6-031306-generic). Unfortunately, it did not fix the problem with
the touchpad. I've attached updated debugging info for the new kernel.
In case it's relevant, I'll also mention that after installing the new
kernel I see the
kernel-unable-to-test-upstream
Attempted to install the 3.14.0-rc6 and fglrx messages appeared. (fglrx
make.log attached)
ran sudo update-grub and the 3.14.0 kernel is found, but not added to list of
kernels at boot. I cannot test.
