MY MISTAKE! I manually blacklisted eeepc-laptop while testing -wmi
(untill i knew wkat makes acpi-osi)
I tried removing all kernel parameters and load -wmi, but power button
still does not work. Also brightness is not working. (but wlan does work
with -wmi)

because acpi_osi=Linux is used. The older module eeepc-laptop is not

At home, I did not have any reason=4 disconnections, for a 10hours time,
so this kernel is better than stock and (maybe) better than 3.16 with -9
firmware.

The title of that bug should be renamed to Kernel 3.13 still broken on
Radeon HD based desktops and laptops like Sangeet is suggesting. I used
option Install new hardware support on 12.04 LTS and I my system
started rebooting because this step installed kernel 3.13. Important
side-effect was
@Kamil Demecki: Reportedly fixed in Kernel 3.16. See comment #77. So it
would be a problem at least for 3.13-3.15.
