drivers. Using KMS, the boot process stalls
somewhere between enabling the radeon KMS and loading the usb drivers

svenmeier, those attachments are from the Ubuntu kernel, instead of the
latest mainline kernel (4.0-rc7) as advised by the previously mentioned
article.

Just tried 4.0.0 , and on first try I triggered this issue. I was,
however, able to kill gnome-setting-daemon and then gnome-shell from a

Hi, bluetooth works for me too, thanks.
However I have a little problem with wifi drive . It doesn't load
automatically. I have to do 'sudo modprobe mt7630e' manually to make it
working.
I added 'modprobe mt7630e' in /etc/rc.local and now is fine

I just encountered this bug after a daily update of Ubuntu 14.04. I got
a pink/purple screen _before_ the prompt for the encryption password and
it hang there. I tried to reboot my laptop several time because there

3.19 kernel on my Asus X455 Mint 17.1 (currently: 3.19.0-rc4-focaltech-
fix2 from @mgottschlag) and Ill add your focaltech dkms ppa. will this
work?
Btw, after testing @mgottschlag kernel for days, I noticed that

If you have a kernel with focaltech fix, you do not need to install the
driver from ppa.
If you have a generic 3.19 kernel, you can install the driver from ppa.
It will build psmouse.ko module against any 3.19 kernel you install. But
