Hi. I'm also experiencing the mentioned freezes, usually during boot.
I have tried the proposed kernel (3.19.0-29 up to commit 44d2345), and I'm

Also, 3.19.0-28 is working fine for me too.

Marcin, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from
the very top line at the top of the page from http://kernel.ubuntu.com
/~kernel-ppa/mainline/?C=N;O=D (the release names are irrelevant for
testing, and please do not test the daily folder)? Install instructions
are available
Yes, I reported both of them. The problem needs fixing separately in
each package where it occurs. But if you fix one of them, it should be
easy to fix the other.

You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Ocasional crash on resume, once in every 10 to 20 resume from standby.
Using dual monitor setup, with laptop monitor disabled.
Happened in 15.04 and in 15.10, although i think it is not so frequent in 15.10
64bit.
External display via VGA. It turns on
Solution, packaged up and tested.

Joe, is this over and above Bug 1519917? That one may supercede this
one. We are performing full functional tests on 1519917 and it's eating
a lot of cycles, so to speak.

Yes, you are correct. The two commits needed by Wily will be pulled in
with bug 1519917. I'll mark Wily as invalid in this bug report. I'll
focus on Vivid and Trusty in this bug.

Title:
Packard Bell DOTS inverted internal microphone
Public bug reported:
We originally faced this problem here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1523092
After testing with proposed updates repo enabled, we found that lvremove
may hang in D state.
I'm attaching strace logs from original bug created with:
strace -f lvremove -f cinder 2>&1 |
I believe the bcm5974/bcm5976 driver needs to be extended with support
for accessing the controller over the SPI bus. It's possible the USB
driver is no help and the whole thing needs to be implemented
specifically for this device.
