The problem was there from the first install. Previous kernels tested:

There were some errors while installing upstream kernel (I attach thefile) but
despite of that it managed to boot. The problem persists.

Verified ok in Wily 4.2.0-27.32 (proposed): The bug can't be reproduced
in 4.2 (a separate upstream fix hides it), but this patch doesn't appear
to break anything and does eliminate an unnecessary double checksum
computation.

I added the "proposed" source and from there installed kernel 3.19.0-46
(using Synaptic). Booted with acpi_force_32bit_fadt_addr and system
froze.
I get the feeling this kernel wasn't the one I was supposed to be
testing with. Could it be because I am on Trusty? Is the proposed kernel
released to

In comment #3 I should have mentioned that prior to the crash on
reconnect, it actually prompted me for a PIN code that the UI generated,
and the keyboard stopped blinking although it did not work with the
laptop. I was never again able to get the pin prompt in a number of
retries at pairing.

Quick test with Kernel 4.5 RC1 connected hdmi for a few seconds => the
problem seems to be solved. No error anymore and everything is working
fine :-).

Because of problems with graphics on v4.5-rc1 (maybe because I'm using
intel-linux-graphics-installer, or maybe it's the i915 drivers issues)
