I tested daily-live of March 19. I don't get any AMDGPU *ERROR* and
suspend is as expected so I think this bug has been fixed.
So what about current 16.04 LTS ? For now I'm using kernel 4.10 but I
have to manually update it.

Original description:
Regardless of ndots option in /etc/resolv.conf, when NXDOMAIN
I added requested option to /etc/default/grub:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash asus-wmi.dyndbg=+p
asus-nb-wmi.dyndbg=+p"
After that I executed "update-grub" to update the changes and then rebooted.
I pressed all of the Fn keys in the following order:

@Denis -- your issue was caused by an attempt to back out the snapd
update to 2.23.1 in the archive without also backing out the linux
updates that depended on it. These have now been rolled back also
pending a fix for the underlying issue (a dpkg bug trigging upgrade
failures).

The image-extra package was missing
I installed it and now everything is ok

Really don't know why was not installed during the upgrade.
I tried to check and install linux-generic metapackage
