I have attached the 'acpi-dump' results here. By the way, I also found
my laptop only has dummy output as sound.
The touchpad detection problem and the output sound problem also occur in
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver).
However, they works smoothly in Windows 10.

I have now backed out all of the r8101 module and rebooted with the
r8169.
The system now works - this bug can be closed. Some update I've
installed seems to have fixed the issue.

Adding "options snd-hda-intel dmic_detect=0" in the /etc/modprobe.d

Trying to write into a fifo pipe inside /tmp (echo "hello" > /tmp/fifo)
whit normal permissions (drwxrwxrwt, sticky bit) and the fifo with prw-
rw-rw- permissions and with "other" user than user and group owner ends
in this error: bash: /tmp/fifo: Permission denied. It occurs
Ubuntu 20.04 stable
For me, Clipit interface is working in Xorg but is not working in Wayland.
