I tested the kernel in comment #78 and the bug didn't show up again it
is a test kernel , but Garry in comment 70 mentioned it is fixed already
in kernel 6.4 I have no problem keeping the test kernel till ubuntu
23.10 release with kernel 6.5

after around 68 hours without network problem
it happened again
there was some network issue on other devices at the moment where it
resolved automatically but not on my ubuntu pc I tested the cable on
other pc and it worked with no issue but I had to restart my pc

yes i did and 'cat /proc/cmdline' in the command line now show
pcie_aspm=off
after the last restart it is up for around 17 hours with no internet
problems
I will install older kernel of 6.2 as it was stable for a months on my
machine if the problem still exist I may go with
the bug still persist after the upgrade

- changed

the network was off when I did that so I restarted the system and the network
disconnected

Today I installed Ubuntu Studio 18.10 64bit, after install I updated
4.18.0-18-lowlatency and now instead of what I observed in 4.15 kernels, see
that IRQ16 nobody cares does not occur and my mouse is OK. A780gm-a
motherboard , SB700.
Happier that I have progress but note I have IRQ18 nobody

I installed Ubuntu Studio and experienced same with amd64 platform,
vmlinuz-5.0.0-8-lowlatency. After installing generic kernel, usb mouse
performance returned to normal. I had this also with the live version
18.xx last fall, and never installed.

Thanks @laag. I followed the steps #115 and it worked on my Alienware 13
Ubuntu 14.04 kernel 3.16 . Although the touchpad stopped working after
the installation but later found a solution for that as well.

@ Christopher, for time being I can not upgrade to any new development
release. I need to stick to the LTS release (i.e. 12.04). However, I
fixed this issue by install v3.5-xx-quantal kernel as mentioned above.
It is not the optimum solution.
