The linux-firmware is not part of the Kernel thats true... The linux- firmware.git(https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/firmware /linux-firmware.git/tree/) is way BEHIND the actual progress. The short for the Killer N1525 is QCA6174 hw2.1 which is NOT part of the official linux-firmware.
