@pauljohn: I also tested on Precision 5510 with 4.4.0-34 after re-installing the system, can't reproduce the issue. I also set PalmDetect to 1 (default is 0), can't reproduce the issue either. Don't think BIOS version affects this issue but can you provide the information with `sudo dmidecode -s
