tdeering, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
No longer affects me because I have sold the laptop that was affected.
With my current laptop and Ubuntu 13.10, I cannot reproduce this issue.
Perhaps Amir can still reproduce the problem with his setup? Amir,
please respond if so.

Though I still got the laptop, I no longer use Ubuntu 12.04 on it and
thus I cannot further test the issue. Furthermore, this laptop is my
main workstation, so I cannot reinstall 12.04 for testing.
I have recently installed Xubuntu 13.10 and did not experience the
