Same here. Suspending with «sudo sh -c sync echo 1
/sys/power/pm_trace pm-suspend» doesn't affect my network though,
but my screen is also unlocked after resuming.

Good question... the processor is AMD Athlon(tm) II Neo K325, so I guess
I can exclude the Inspiron 11z Intel (1120) version (?)
