I've been stuck with the same problem for several days now. The make
file for the MT7610U v 3.0.0.2 driver downloaded from the mediatek site
lists MT7630E as one of the supported devices. However the source
compiles to a file named mt7650u_sta.ko Loading this driver using
modprobe does not seem

Goddammit sorry, I found the reason for all this trouble. It hasn't todo
with ubuntu or the kernel at all. It is an dual boot windows 8.1 issue.
Because windows 8.1 doesn't shutdown properly, instead it goes into some
kind of hybrid shutdown state. The firmware file is already loaded into

I just did a manual expert install of the current server daily
(3.13.0-3-generic #18 kernel) and that did complete with raid getting
synced. Guest was configured with 1VCPU and 1G of memory. I used 2 LVs
