I can confirm the bug on a LG T1 Express Dual laptop. Had the same issue
trying to install 14.04 from a Live USB stick. I got stuck due to the
non-working keyboard during the install process and cannot currently install,
since I am still looking for a USB keyboard asa substitute.

of /etc/pm/config.d/load/unloaded.modules (does it change something ?),

Hallo,
i have the same problem under Xubuntu 14.04 and a brandnew HP Zbook 14.
At system boot my external vga screen was detected correctly and a few
seconds after Xubuntu-XFCE-Login the external screen isn't available. At
a few seconds i have seen the correct XFCE-desktop through the login
