If I can seem to remember, the upgrade continued on it's own accord with
no further errors except for the usual 16.10 system errors (which I
imagine are unrelated to this bug).
So all I can say is that I don't know if this bug still persists as it
was the system that automatically produced the bug

thanks for your reply. With non-functional touchpad and not-visible mouse
pointer, somehow (like a blind man in a dark room) I successfully installed
Ubuntu Zesty alongside with Windows 10, and after that Nvidia 375.26 from
ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa. Thanks to Nvidia driver, my mouse now

same problem and on /etc/bluetooth/main.conf there is "#AutoEnable=false"

similar video playback issue, but with different radeon error messages

Ubuntu 16.04.1, 64bit, desktop. All packages up to date.
Played back a movie with VLC.
At a random point VLC was stuck decoding the video and repeated a short
sequence of frames indefinitely. There were no decoding artifacts.
Subtitle continued to play back, but the audio co
Video playback was from a separate HDD attached on a SATA 2 port. It is
not a fast machine (HP Microserver with dual core Atom CPU), but there
are no problems playing back this same video in Ubuntu's default video
player. It breaks only in VLC somehow. It seems to be related to how VLC
is using the
Christopher, a backport to 16.10 would be much appreciated so I can have
a usable setup (while waiting for 17.04) and be a happy and productive
developer again.
