After a bluetooth it discovers the devices, displaying the names correctly

Thanks Christopher for your help. I don't think it's related to the BIOS
because:
1. Once I have a wireless connection, rebooting the computer makes a
connection automatically with the correct MAC so this issue happens only
on cold boot.
2. This doesn't happen with the manufacturer's driver. It

This issue has always been happening, even on the Wily 15.10 live cd.
Since I installed Ubuntu from the 15.10 disk, and then upgraded to
Xenial 16.04, there have not been any kernel versions that do not work,
both kernel 4.3.0-2, and kernel 4.2.0-22 hang after a while.

One of the prerequisite commits required for this patch to apply to lts-
backport-utopic and Trusty(Commit 0b725a2c) was making changes to the
igb driver.
I created a new backport of this commit, so it does not touch igb.
There was good testing in bug 1492146 with this kernel, see commits 34

Additional info regarding previous comment : upon adding device
(clicking the + button of the blueman-manager) (an unnamed (identified
only by its MAC when it instead should display my headphones name) ) it
crashes the bluez daemon

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.4 kernel[0].
If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.
