Title:
Disable CONFIG_HVC_UDBG on ppc64el
Would you be able to run the make scripts inside the headers folder on
the target machine? That would rebuild the x86 tools as ppc.
This make usually fails at some point. but it rebuilds the necessary
tools that are necessary to build a module.

Kernel 4.11.0-041100-generic shows another issue: DP1-1 won't show any
picture and simply enters standby mode.
Output from xrandr is the same as in my first post.

@Andrey Vertexx, It sounded like the test kernel I posted in comment
#30 did in fact resolve the bug for you. Can you retest that kernel to
see if that is the case?

Can you test the v4.11 final kernel? If it has the bug, we can
"Reverse" bisect between 4.11 and 4.12-rc1 to find the commit that fixes
this.
The 4.11 final kernel is available from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.11/

Public bug reported:
Release: 17.04/Zesty

The lxc interface changed and now requires --storage when creating a new

Fix: Get the list of available storages and if this succeeds, use the
first one as default for creating the test container.

I built a Zesty test kernel with a cherry pick of commit 041939c1ec54.
The test kernel can be downloaded from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1691045/
Can you test this kernel and see if it resolves this bug?
