There are actually two different bugs:
- Wireless hotkey doesn't work:
It's a bug in GNOME. You can try KDE and you'll see it works just fine.
So the udevd hwdb is not necessary.
- Annoying "unknown keycodes"
Both wireless hotkey and Fn/Multimedia hotkey "key codes" are for notification.

This file is one with the failed boot, unfortunately the kernel panic
message don't appear. Unlike the other file with the failure I uploaded
before, on this one the boot failed. I was helped on #ubuntu+1 on how to
add netconsole to initramfs, so I was able to obtain the first 7 seconds

I tried this last one, and webcam still not detected. But now syslog
seems to show the 1.00 firmware. This is the output of "dmesg | grep
uvcvideo":
dmesg | grep uvcvideo

I built the next test kernel, up to the following commit:

Because, the system boot up but it stops and freezes due to problem with
(nouveau) graphics. When the system is frozen it still allows me to test the
brightness keys. Unfortunately with the frozen system I can not access a
terminal or use it in any way.
