I tested again on kernels 5.8 and 5.11 with nvidia-driver-470. Logs are
attached.
With 5.8 kernel, the external displays eventually come to live, after
connecting the dock and some waiting (~15 s). After first connection, it
seemed to be doing several trials, in the end it worked too.

For the tpm2_loadexternal, and tpm2_import tests, the failure seems from
RSA private key 1024 bit no support for this platform. So TPM returned
ErrorCode (0x02c4), "value is out of range or is not correct for the
context"

invalid files and try to move them out of the way.
I'm not aware of encrypted pools being specifically implicated (no such

Tried on monday a fresh Ubuntu 20.10 and Nvidia 470.57.02
Same X11 restart/crash with
"- Setting a mode on head 1 failed: Invalid surface parameters"
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to enter VT (mode initialization failed)
and still no crash file from X11
The system is very stable like with
Verify Dell XPS 9310 and Precision 5750.
The Wi-Fi card in XPS 9310 and Precision 5750 are both AX201, both
utilize fw QuZ-a0-hr-b0-59.ucode.
They can perform iperf test for 6000 seconds without firmware crash log.
Test steps:
1. enable proposed
2. install iperf3 and linux-firmware on both
This affects Focal as well, because the kernel is available as HWE.
The pending release is only for Ubuntu Hirsute yet.
