Just the same behaviour, i.e. the led goes solid off on sleep. If I think a
bit, this may be what one wants, because this will spare some µAh and lengthen
sleep time before the battery gets empty. On the other side, no indicator may

Issue remains here in L322X fresh 13.04 installed in BIOS mode (A08).
3.8.0-19-generic at install time, but I didn't notice the issue.
I can say the issue remains in 3.8.0-26-generic and 3.8.0-27-generic. OSD bar
OK but backlight seems stuck to some value.

I fresh installed my l322x with 64bit raring in BIOS mode and then made some
customisations. Later I found hibernation/thaw was weird.
Later I removed the noatime options from fstab and found hibernation/thaw
worked finer.
I had added the noatime options myself (this is not default)
Tested with 3.11.2-031102-generic x86_64.
Led won't blink on suspend. Although, this will save some µAh ;)

Daniele, I didn't re-read the whole thread, but did you? At a time, the
issue was said to be fixed for ubuntu installed over a BIOS MODE only,
i.e. not over UEFI. Did you check this or do you already know you're in
UEFI (only usefull I beleive for double boot with W7+)?

As I didn't want double boot with windows I kept my L322X in legacy boot mode
before I repartitionned to remove the furbished DIAGS and boot FAT partitions
so that I reclaim the whole SSD for sda1 and swap (for hibernation) then I
fresh installed ubuntu Raring over Precise.
