Kyrylo, these guys are working on patches of the base kernel, so -300
kernel on Fedora might be having some solutions. Actually I can say that
on Fedora, even those buttons were not working which was working on

Downloaded yesterday the 6.5.10 kernel and compiled it for Ubuntu 22.04
LTS. It works now without any patching needed. So I can confirm that it
fixed in this kernel version.

Can this bug be reopened? I have checked that who can make this status
adjustment and it seems that anybody can do it, but unfortunately you

This what I saw. External keyboard and mouse attached and working. But
internal keyboard and touch pad does not.
Built in microphone also doe not work.

Hi Quinten,
first attempt on Ubuntu failed. I have downloaded the source package for
the kernel 6.5.0-9.9, than I have followed the steps and compile went
without error.
During install, however, it said that some modules are missing for 6.5.3
kernel, which is a bit weird.
Restarted the system,
Copying the stock config file to .config, did not cause compilation
issues, but did not change anything at the end. I have the feeling that
I was not downloading the right kernel source, even if I have followed
the instruction on the Ubuntu website.
At my latest trial the installed kernel appears

solved or not? I think there is an issue how the workflows are running.
There should be a solution explained and then confirmed by at least a
few affected users or by time if at least one confirmation is given
On 23.04 the microphone is working already. I have tried to upgrade
yesterday to 23.10, but the install windows are not appearing properly,
so cannot see the steps. (With the updater tool the upgrade did not
appear yet.)
The other windows on the live DVD, like Libre Office, or the settings
Ubuntu 23.10 not fixed the issue yet. Kernel 6.5.0

I have switched to Debian and downloaded the latest kernel from
kernel.org. As the current kernel on Debian was 6.1.0-13, I have
selected the 6.1.62 kernel source. I have followed the steps and Quinten
