Toshiba NB500, with rtl8188ce wireless card.
Lubuntu 14.04 32 bit up-to-date. Tested with 3.13.0.32, 3.13.0.36
3.13.0.37.
The wifi is unstable. The connection is lost after about 30 minutes.
Reboot is needed for reconnecting.
Tried different solutions:
Could anybody try with 3.14.1 kernel for Trusty (14.04) ?

and it's UNSTABLE. Connection lost after about 30 minutes. Nor more

ips=1 fwlps=0 swlps=0 swenc=1 makes the connection stable but I have
troubles at startup.
Not always, but many times wifi doesn't connect at startup. At syslog it
says time out connecting to the AP.

With latest BIOS you can disable i2c detection.
But if you don't disable it, i2c detection fails it as explained.

I can see this error since I installed the system for the first time.
$ zgrep "disabling ASPM" /var/log/*
acpi PNP0A08:00: _OSC failed (AE_ERROR); disabling ASPM
Kernels 4.10.0.40-generic, 4.13.0-26-generic, 4.13.0-31-generic
Tested on HP Convertible x360 11-ab0XX with same results.

Curiously, if I turn off the system, connect/disconnect the battery
(battery reset hole at the bottom of the laptop) and turn on the system,
NO errors.
