I come up with a solution using libusb. The connection protocol lacks (at

I made a C script that works with MCM530, but it should also work with MCM5xx

The readme describes the missing packets.

Title:
PRIME Profiles option no longer available in Nvidia
I tested Linux aknoteb 3.17.0-031700rc7-generic #201409281835 SMP Sun
Sep 28 22:36:30 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I've done several tests and they all show that the reported behaviour
does not exists on the above kernel. Is this kernel going to be
published for 14.04 and if yes when?
I found out that the faulty behaviour when undocking ist still present in:
3.13.11-03131108-generic #201410031135 SMP Fri Oct 3 15:36:25 UTC 2014 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
But working in:
3.14.1-031401-generic #201404141220 SMP Mon Apr 14 16:21:48 UTC 2014 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64
Muelli I do have Bios version 8DET69WW (1.39 ) release-date 07/18/2013.

There is a kernel that has a fix, I've reported all of it. I don't know
why that kernel is not distributed yet.

I can confirm that the issue with kernel 3.13.0-46 still exist. The only
way around I see is using 3.14-kernel
