[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1479093] Re: Segfault in ld-2.19.so while starting Steam after upgrade to 3.13.0-59.98
@Stefan I'm not quite sure what your statement means? I'm using Ubuntu Trusty and I'm having this problem. Is there a different kernel for trusty than pre-installed one? Is this also a workaround for the issue, or would it be better to just use kernel -58? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1479093 Title: Segfault in ld-2.19.so while starting Steam after upgrade to 3.13.0-59.98 Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in linux-lts-utopic package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in linux-lts-vivid package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in linux source package in Trusty: Confirmed Status in linux-lts-utopic source package in Trusty: Invalid Status in linux-lts-vivid source package in Trusty: Confirmed Status in linux source package in Vivid: Confirmed Status in linux-lts-utopic source package in Vivid: Invalid Status in linux-lts-vivid source package in Vivid: Invalid Status in linux source package in Wily: Confirmed Status in linux-lts-utopic source package in Wily: Invalid Status in linux-lts-vivid source package in Wily: Invalid Bug description: The previous kernel 3.13.0-58.97 does not show the issue when booting back into it. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1058346] Re: [Acer Aspire One 725] Touchpad not working
Hey Launchy, have you tried doing a clean install? Even in a separate partition, just to test. I don't have my laptop with me at the moment to try, but Ubuntu has always had problem with updating. The only way to get a new version of Ubuntu is a clean install. I think I'll be able to try 13.10 next week, when I get my laptop back, but I'll be great if you could try a clean install and report back -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1058346 Title: [Acer Aspire One 725] Touchpad not working Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Touchpad will not work out of the box on this netbook. Does this mean that if I update to the latest saucy, all packages from repo, this issue is resolved? Or are the changes still in the process of getting approved, or something similar, and we'll have to wait until we see this update pop-up in Ubuntu 13.10? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1058346 Title: [Acer Aspire One 725] Touchpad not working Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Touchpad will not work out of the box on this netbook.
