[Kernel-packages] [Bug 2036836] Re: Regression: Lower resolution modes on eDP are broken
Kernel 6.5.6 is fixing the issue: Hamza Mahfooz (1): drm/amd/display: fix the ability to use lower resolution modes on eDP When is this fix being backported to Ubuntu's kernel? It's very disappointing that this is not addressed by the devs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2036836 Title: Regression: Lower resolution modes on eDP are broken Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: With Ubuntu Mantic, Linux 6.5 and Radeon 680M low resolution mode on hiDPI laptop displays is broken. Yes, it still happens with mesa 23.2.1-1ubuntu2. Additionally, it is not only with video fullscreen. Same happens if I start synaptic for example. Sometimes it hangs for 10 seconds too.
