No problems with 14.04 not resuming from suspend. I will have recheck 14.10.

If we need to be in GPT-UEFI installation ( that crippled F2 Bios and F12 Boot
Menu ) to creat the ubuntu-bug report,
I would redone it again when I have more free time.

I reverse bisected the upstream kernel, and determined that the fix is
in commit 16c426f. I also believe that this is (upstream) already set to
be merged into the 3.19 kernel (please let me know if that's not the
case).
Specifically, there is only one small change in this commit, which
adjusts
I'm not convinced that 4.1-rc1 doesn't exhibit issue, given that it's
intermittent (happens ~18% of the time?). Was able to reproduce on
4.0.0-04rc1 though.

I installed and booted Ubuntu with the http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v4.1-rc1-vivid/ modules suggested by jsalisbury. I tried
several times and did NOT get any kernel panics with that mainline
kernel.
However, I am still able to reproduce the reported panic with the
Pander, would you need a backport to a release prior to Vivid, or may
this be closed as Status Invalid?
