I've never used apt to directly install debs so I don't know whether
that works, I use 'dpkg -i /path/to/debs'. You can check the kernel
version you're running using 'uname -a'.
There's no problem installing older kernels, and that would be another

move switched to my touchpad just to find out it was not working. Checked in
/proc/bus/input/devices but could not find the focaltech
Would it be possible to verify whether the proposed backport satisfies
performance expectations. In particular exercising ipv6/sit since I had
to adapt the patch there to make up for iptunnel_pull_header only having
3 arguments in 4.4.
