installation?
In other OSes such as SUSE, CentOS, Fedora, ... I can install without the need
of CD-ROM. Just dd-ing the ISO file into a USB key drive and use it for
installation.

breaking dependencies. It requires binutils >= 2.29 (or 2.28, not sure
if I remember correctly) but Ubuntu 16.04 only includes version 2.26. So
