Today I resetup parttion sda1 to use backup at amd pc(AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250).
I restart PC, purple screen blink occur many times.
when start normal timing, I use update-grub commad to set up grub environment.
and select Ubuntu, with Linux 5.0.0-27-generic(recovery mode) start PC normal.

The same happen with my XPS 13. Since a couple of days I have noticed
this annoying hiss. I use Ubuntu 19.04.
The workaround also fixes the issue for me (amixer -c 0 set 'Headphone

It looks like there have been some changes in this area of the Linux
kernel sometime around July, so I tried updating to the 5.4.0-rc2
upstream kernel today. This updated kernel appears to fix the issue
I've been having. I'll run with the 5.4.0-rc2 kernel for now.
