Hi. Using Toshiba C50E (AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint).
This:
«WORKAROUND: Execute at a terminal and then reboot your system:
echo blacklist i2c_hid | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf» — this
does not work. It helps at the login screen but in a minute my touchpad stops
working.

Toshiba C50D, touchpad stopped working after 13.10 —» 14.04 update
completely.
After I tried «echo blacklist i2c_hid | sudo tee -a
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf» and rebooting, it works perfectly, now
even with two-finger scrolling which wasn't there before. Now works, no
interruptions in

With formerly available gnome bluetooth applet (and lately from gnome control
center) it works.
With blueman it does not (unless I kill pulseaudio process, reload alsa etc.).
Tried with headsets: CBR CHP636Bt, Creative WP-350, noname S-69.
Tried with at least 3 different onboard bluetooth chips
I think I'm having the same issue. I'm using xorg-edgers, but that still
shouldn't crash the kernel DRM I guess.

Does anybody know if this actual for 4.2.0 kernel (far more recent than the one
described in the OP)?
Because I ran into this after some googling while having the same issue on
