I pulled all the hardware from my PC and went through each part one by
one. The device that makes these errors appear is the XPG GAMMIX S5 m.2
when plugged into port "M2A_32G". I moved the m.2 device to port
"M2P_32G" and the errors disa

"M2A_32G" port to see if the port is the problem. There are no errors. I

tree modules" uninstall, specifically nvidia (with bbswitch).

I had 20.10 installed before 21.04, and I'd swear it didn't have this
problem. I can reinstall 20.10 and confirm this later.

after rootfs is active/mounted.

Systems with too much memory will demand higher amounts of memory for the
crashkernel parameter, as well as having less systemd units up

I build the next branch of linux-gpio (which contains the patch you mentioned
in #251), and the trackpad works just fine without the hid polling on the
kernel command line.

I don't think it is, I believe the for-next branch in linux-gpio will
only be integrated in 5.11, but @Coiby Xu (coiby) should be able to
confirm that.

Don't want to hijack this thread, but has anyone here with a Legion 5
(AMD version) has gotten the backlight working in Discrete graphics mode
(only the nvidia GPU enabled)?

Again my apologies to everyone for hijacking this thread, But since
people are asking, and I was able to solve the backlight problem after
days of pain, here are the instructions. Two caveats though:
- you need to have the laptop in "Discrete" mode in the BIOS (in my experience,

ASUS G752VS: Touchpad and Fn
I make a mistake when clicking on the page in order to mention it also
affects me by selecting affects linux, and then tried to undo it by
making another huge mistake since I'm a newbie and lack common sense.
I've got the same problems, keyboard fn keys and backlight don't work,
touchpad isn't wor
I also got the same issue for the same hardware, Touchpad description in xinput
list (or a similar computer variant).
Tested several kernels, none fixed the problem.
