Excellent work guys! I'm really looking forward to trying this stuff out.
I'll commit the download_openssl.cmake changes in a few days when we're
back on-line at home as I've just moved house and we've no internet access
at home at the moment.
Thanks to everyone involved in that work, a push and
Thanks for your work. (to everybody)
It appears that KiCad is still on route to becoming/staying the most
advanced open source PCB CAD program.
I will test the new stuff when time permits me.

I think that's a good idea (altough it's more for the library people)...
Hello
I found the kicad autorouter today. Not bad but is has ploughed through
pre-existing tracks causing a massive short. It also does not make the
most obvious choices in routing and tracks seem to be placed within the
clearance limits of pads so it seems to rather have a mind of it's own.

I'll do it.
Where does the number 25 come from? If it's just a number off the top of
your head, I'll do some resolution tests and see what looks good for say a
minimum of 1280px width. (Netbooks will excuse me)

While I agree with the time valuation, hobbyists using KiCad do not
necessarily spend lots of money on screen real estate. Besides, it doesn't
mean large resolution screens are placed in landscape mode. I myself have
my main monitor in portrait because code is what is displayed most often on
it.
