Thanks for the answer Miguel, it's the same hack I made. Some trickier linker

For now I have a link in my system from "python" to "python2", if

Regarding python2, would it make sense to just call "python" as "python2" is
not usually available anymore?
"Python" mostly means python2.x and "python3", well python3.x... The current
use of "python2" creates build problems on stock Ubuntu.

Well, I've my branch almost ready to merge into testing, all the scripting
changes are dependent on

inside pcbnew
and
-DKICAD_SCRIPTING_MODULES=ON # for building pcbnew module for use in
python
They add requirements l

Haha, it's hard to find a language who everybody likes :-) I chose it
because it was plenty of useful libraries,
and I worked reasonably well with swig.
May be in some future we could have Javascript too, that would be nice, may
be it's to complex to keep two
languages but I really'd like to chec

Thanks Edwin, sometimes is hard to balance time between work, family and
projects like KiCad,
last month was an example of unbalance (to work...), but I feel very happy
when I find my own
work useful, even more when others find it useful too.

Hello Dick & Wayne
Dick, thanks a lot for your words, it's an honor for me, even more when
it's coming from you, who's been doing great efforts to make this project a
success. I'm very happy to be trusted this way, but I still have a lot of
work to do to prove you're right. :-)
I really thank you
Welcome aboard Miguel. Thank you for committing your time and effort to
become part of the KiCad development team. I'm looking forward to
collaborating with you.
Best Regards,
Wayne
